オフィシャルで、かなり厳しいもの、について「課す」ですね。以下、他人の失敗から学ばせていただいたケースを共有します。

以前、同僚が I am determined to carry out my duties that are imposed on me. と言っていて、ちょっと動揺しました。文法的には正しいですよね。おそらく日本語の「私に課せられた任務」を直訳したのかなと思いましたが、よほど嫌々仕事をしていると誤解されかねないと感じました。
